This role also offers a path to advance into a Caregiver Lead position, supporting training and onboarding.

Responsibilities

Personalized Support

  • Deliver dedicated one-to-one support for elderly adults or adults with developmental disabilities, with a focus on exercise, companionship, and social interaction.

Daily Living Assistance

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Assist with mobility, including ambulation, wheelchair use, and transfers.

  • Prepare meals, including special diets, and supervise or assist clients with eating and drinking.

  • Provide light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry or linen changes, and dishes, restricted to a maximum of 15 minutes per hour.

  • Drive or escort clients to shopping, errands, social activities, and medical appointments.

  • Provide medication reminders.

  • Offer companionship and socialization.

Progress Tracking and Documentation

  • Track and document participant goals, progress, and milestones while maintaining accurate, timely, and complete records.

Transportation

  • Report daily on progress and transport participants safely to medical appointments or errands when needed.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • English communication skills.

  • Applicable work or volunteer experience.

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or elderly adults.

  • CNA, LVN, MA, or prior caregiving or personal assistant experience preferred.

  • Experience with dementia or neurodiverse care is a plus.

  • Required: valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and assist with transfers.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and observant.
